News about the economy, infrastructure, and government often arrives as a stream of alarming headlines with little context. Doomsday Dashboard brings the underlying data together in one place, rates each system on a consistent scale, and links every claim to its source, so you can judge for yourself.

The name is tongue-in-cheek. Most days, most systems are stable, and the dashboard says so.

Start on the overview for a quick summary. Select any section to see its key indicators and recent developments, then select a topic for full detail, charts, and citations. The officials map shows who represents each state and district.

We describe conditions, not policies. Status levels are based on published thresholds, and every rating includes an explanation. See the methodology for details.

This is a design prototype. All figures, names, and events are illustrative placeholders. Live data from official sources will be connected in a later phase.
